Triumph Motorcycles under its new initiative of trying and creating awareness about adventure motorcycling in the country has introduced a comprehensive Tiger Training Academy. The exercise aims to bring the best of the riding experiences to its passionate customers. Triumph Motorcycles has been conducting this training in collaboration with MotoDreamz for some time now. After having organized a series of training sessions in Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Delhi, the India Bike Week, Goa, Pune and Mumbai, the Tiger Training Academy took place in Kamshet, Pune this weekend.
The Academy was attended by over 70 motorcycle aficionados. The idea behind the training sessions is to make the Tiger customers better understand their motorcycles and equipping them with the right skills to ride safely both on and off road. The riders also interacted with seasoned rider and unarguably a legend in the motorcycling community Mr. Vijay Parmar who is the chief instructor for this initiative.
It’s notable that Triumph Motorcycles is currently the undisputed leader in adventure motorcycling category in India. The Tiger brand has done fairly well in the category, especially knowing the small size of the market in India. Triumph Motorcycles’ adventure segment portfolio comprises the Tiger XR, XRx, XCx, XCa and Tiger Explorer XC.
The Tiger features a host of rider focused technologies such as the Triumph Traction Control and switchable ABS. Offered in a variety of trims to suit a range of rider needs, the Tiger series does boast a good level of standard equipment, especially suited for long journeys.
Mr. VimalSumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India said,“The Tiger is truly a remarkable adventure bike much like a high end SUV on two wheels with its state of the art features and rider focused technology suited for both on and off road riding. The Tiger Training Academy is a sincere effort to give back to our passionate riders with seasoned quality training and interactive sessions. It is also a great way of showcasing how much more their very own Tiger is capable of in terms of performance. It is a great way to reconnect with our customers in line with our goal to provide them with a holistic riding experience.”
