The new Skoda Octavia garners 1000 bookings within 3 weeks of its launch in India

Skoda Auto India has notified us that it has garnered over 1000 bookings for the new Octavia within 3 weeks of the car’s launch.

With such a terrific response, it won’t be wrong to say that the new Octavia has managed to capture the imagination of the car buying lot.

Talking about Octavia’s achievement, Mr. Sudhir Rao, Managing Director, ŠKODA Auto India said, “The Octavia is the heart of our brand and is our attempt to give customers one of the best offerings in the country. The Octavia will set new benchmarks in space, ride quality and ownership experience. With the new design language the Octavia is a head turner and is a great value proposition for the Indian consumer. We will continue to bring products that redefine segments and ownership experience

The new Octavia is available at a starting price of Rs. 1,395,000 for 1.4 TSI Active (ex-showroom New Delhi). It is also available in two additional trims 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TDI. The online booking option will be available for all Octavia trim lines along with the entire SKoda car-line up across the country.

Earlier this month, Škoda Auto India commenced the online bookings for the new Octavia. Those interested can book their car at a nominal booking amount of INR 5,000 with an option of 100% money back in case of a cancellation. The booking amount can be paid online through net banking, debit card or credit card. Customers can pay the remaining amount at their chosen Škoda dealership.
