Tata Motors flagged-off the first batch of the Nexon compact SUV from its Ranjangaon facility. The Nexon is the company’s fourth car in the new generation of passenger vehicles under the Impact design philosophy after the Tiago, Hexa and the Tigor.
The company will soon begin dispatching the cars to the dealerships across the country in a phased manner and customers will soon be able to get up, close and personal with the Nexon. The Tata Nexon is slated for launch during this festive season.

Tata Motors had recently announced that the Nexon compact SUV will be available with two engine options: 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine from the Revotron series and a 1.5-litre diesel engine from the Revotorq family. This engine would be paired with a 6 speed gearbox. The petrol engine would be capable of producing 110 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque while the diesel engine will produce 110 PS of power and 260 Nm of torque.
