Tata Motors unveils plans for four new mass-market EV launches by late next year known for its Tigor EV, Nexon, Tiago EV, and more recently, the Punch EV
The EV Lineup Unveiled
In a recent announcement, Shailesh Chandra, MD of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, shed light on the upcoming EV lineup.
The impressive roster kicks off with the Curvv EV, expected to launch in the coming months, followed by the eagerly awaited Harrier EV.
The lineup extends to include the Altroz EV, slated for release next year, and a futuristic Sierra EV alongside the Altroz EV, both anticipated in 2025.
Advanced Acti.EV Architecture
Chandra highlighted the introduction of the groundbreaking Acti.EV architecture with the launch of the Punch EV. This architecture is set to be a game-changer, underpinning all forthcoming passenger EVs.

Curvv EV
The upcoming Curvv EV, positioned above the Nexon EV, is poised to rival the Hyundai Creta EV. Sporting a distinctive four-door SUV-coupe body style, Tata Motors strategically plans to introduce the Curvv EV before its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterparts.

Harrier EV
Following the Curvv EV, the Harrier EV takes center stage. Drawing inspiration from the Harrier EV concept showcased at the Auto Expo, it seamlessly combines the Land Rover-derived Omega architecture with Tata’s Gen 2 EV architecture.
This hybrid platform, re-engineered for electrification, sets the stage for the Harrier EV to debut later this year, preceding the release of the much-anticipated Harrier turbo-petrol variant.

Sierra EV and Altroz EV
Tata Motors doesn’t stop at the Curvv and Harrier EVs. The iconic Sierra nameplate makes a comeback in 2025 with the all-new Sierra EV, promising a blend of heritage and innovation.

Simultaneously, the Altroz EV is set to join the lineup, further solidifying Tata’s commitment to sustainable and diverse electric mobility options.
