Suzuki Motorcycles India will extend its product portfolio with the addition of new performance motorcycles in the sub-continent – the GSX-S 1000F ABS and GSX-S 1000 ABS. While the faired GSX-R 1000F ABS will be a sports tourer, the GSX-S 1000 ABS will be the naked roadster. Suzuki Motorcycles India has not revealed the prices and launch dates of these upcoming motorcycles yet.
Mechanically, the GSX-S 1000F ABS and GSX-S 1000 ABS share the 999cc four cylinder liquid cooled motor but in a retuned state to match their respective characteristics. The GSX-S1000F ABS and the GSX-S1000 ABS will be available in two colors – YSF: Metallic Triton Blue, AV4: Glass Sparkle Black / Candy Daring Red.

Both motorcycles would reach the Indian markets very soon. The naked roadster GSX-S 1000 will compete against the Kawasaki Z1000, BMW S1000R, Ducati Monster 1200, Yamaha FZ-1 and Honda CB1000R. The faired tourer, GSX-S 1000F will lock horns with the Kawasaki Ninja 1000.
