Mahindra Scorpio facelift images cease not pouring in! Right when we thought that coming across four different set of Scorpio spy pics in just three days was as ‘lucky’ as we might get, here comes another image set of the upcoming model from our friends Paranjay Dutt, Dolan Christopher and Prashant Kumar.
Unlike what was earlier being thought of, the refreshed SUV didn’t greet us at Auto Expo 2014 and is now being expected to be launched around the advent of next fiscal.
The Scorpio facelift would boast of a highly revised front fascia, which will bestow the ageing model with some freshness. The headlights of the refreshed model will sport LED DRLs, while the front fascia would contain a new bumper, a revised grille and a new set of fog lamps. Also, the car is likely to get a revised hood and new front fenders.

On the inside, the upcoming facelift will sport a highly revised dashboard, updated upholstery and XUV500′s steering wheel.
The rear end of the car would sport new taillights, a new bumper and a mildly revised tailgate.
As previously reported by us, it is highly unlikely that the 2014 Mahindra Scorpio facelift would boast of any significant mechanical updates. This means that the popular SUV would continue to be propelled by the same 2.2 liter four cylinder turbocharged mHawk diesel engine that powers the current model. This engine has a max power of 120 bhp and the peak torque is rated at 290 Nm. The motor can be had with either a 5 speed manual transmission or a 6 speed automatic gearbox on some trim levels.
