Skoda has unveiled its first ever electric- powered vehicle, dubbed Octavia Green E Line. The concept uses an electric motor rated at 60kW maxim power, with a maximum 270 Nm of torque, which makes it possible for the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 12 seconds. The 26.5 kWh battery made from 180 lithium- ion cells, weight about 315 kg. The topped speed clocked by the Skoda Octavia Green E Line concept is 35km/h and gives a mileage of 140 km peR charge.
The E Line is finished in a Pearl White exterior color and features chrome- trim on both the front and rear of the car as well as on the wheels, which has created a contrast with the glossy black roof with integrated energy- generating photovoltaic panels. Inside the Octavia, the cabin is very much identical to the standard Octavia except for the modified display which shows power consumption, battery charge and the remaining range.
