Skoda introduces ‘If You Drink,We Drive’ VAS for its customers

Drinking and driving is something that should not go together. Volkswagen’s Czesh subsidiary, Skoda, however, differs in this opinion. Before you might think the guys at the popular automotive brand have gone bonkers, let us clarify that their new initiative says that they get the driving part if we drink.

The manufacturer has actually launched a pan-India initiative called ‘If You Drink,We Drive’. This initiative is valid for limited time and is a value added service (VAS) that Skoda is providing to its customers.

The drinking and driving initiative is for owners of Skoda cars based in Mumbai. The manufacturer plans to provide a chauffeur to customers to drop them home after a party. This program was launched on April 27th and will continue till May 27th, 2012.

Commenting on the new initiative, the Marketing head of Skoda Auto India, Mr. Kamal Basu said that safety is a primary concern for them and the manufacturer wishes to spread awareness about safe and responsible driving.

  1. I was eagerly awaiting for this car until recently when there was an advertisement issued by a customer about water leakages and subsequent treatment by the dealer ?

Can some owner comment on their experience and reliability of the vehicle and issues with single wiper during monsoon ?
