About a week ago, reports suggested that Eicher Motors owned subsidiary Royal Enfield had stopped production of the Bullet Electra 350. Now, in a recent development, the motorcycle maker has clarified that the model has not been discontinued but will now be sold as the Bullet 350 ES (Electric Start).

It is said that the manufacturer has justified the change in order to make their product line-up simpler by putting the model under the Bullet 350 category. The only difference between the two models is the electric start feature that is equipped on the Electra 350.
Powering the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 ES is the conventional 346cc, single cylinder air cooled engine. This motor is capable of producing a maximum output of 19 hp at 5250 rpm while the peak torque of 28 Nm comes up at 4000 rpm. This engine comes mated to a 5 speed transmission that sends power to the rear wheel. Currently, the model is available 4 colour options – Black, Silver, Maroon and Blue. The Bullet 350 ES is available at Royal Enfield dealerships across India with a price tag of Rs. 1.07 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi).
