It is a well-known fact that electric vehicles, be it with two wheels or four, move rather silently, without the symphony an internal combustion engine creates. The, currently unnamed motorcycle from Revolt tackles this problem, if you can call it one, by using speakers. This may not be a new feature, as we also have seen many cars, which have the ability to pump out a sweet symphony through the speakers, but, wait, the Revolt has another trick up its sleeve. As seen in the teaser, the rider can use a mobile app to change the type of sound sent through the speaker. In the teaser, one can first hear a single cylinder sound, which changes to a 4-cylinder roar, with a tap on the screen.
This upcoming motorcycle has already been put through its pace, with a number of tests. The motorcycle tackled an incline of 10.2 degrees, while the battery went through a foolproof and high-decibel internal testing process, which included tests based on cycle life, nail penetration, shock-absorption, all-weather and waterproofing tests. The bike also has been certified by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) for its roadworthiness, becoming the first electric bike to do so. The coveted organisation claims a battery range of 156 km.
