Pioneer India launched its new enclosed sub-woofers TS-WX306T and TS-WX306B, tube type and box type enclosures. The TX-WX306B box sub-woofer and its cylindrical TS-WX306T counterpart share the same driver unit with a max wattage of 1300 watts and RMS of 350 watts. Pioneer has used new VCCS (Voice coil cooling system) technology in this driver unit. With VCCS, the heat dissipation mechanism of the unit is made more efficient. According to the company, with this type of heat dissipation, the unit becomes durable and can handle high power.
The Pioneer TS-WX306T And TS-WX306B sub-woofers have been designed after India focused research and according to the company, promise to deliver a revolutionary in-car audio experience for discerning customers. With 1300W of audio output, both the sub-woofers are playmate in traffic and those can be suited for long drives. For installing the sub-woofer, an external amplifier is also required to power up the sub-woofer. According to the company, the brand’s two channel amplifier GM-A3702 is the ideal companion with the new box and tube sub-woofers. The two channel amplifier GM-A3702 is priced at INR 4,990.
Commenting on the launch of the Pioneer TS-WX306T And TS-WX306B, Sumit Dudeja, Product Planner, Pioneer India Electronics, said that Pioneer has a long history and expertise in sound reproduction. They have always produced best in class car speakers with amazing sound clarity.In current times when most of the cars are pre-fitted with music systems and speakers, one thing that’s missing is that extra bass. This can only be fulfilled by adding a sub-woofer to the car. Pioneer’s new box sub-woofer is sealed type and focuses on providing tight punch in the car, whereas the tube sub-woofer is ported type and focused towards louder bass. Another major difference between the two is the space consumption. The box sub-woofer consumes lesser space in the boot.
