Ola Electric is set to unveil its highly anticipated first electric motorcycle on Independence Day, August 15. Ahead of the official launch, the EV manufacturer has released a teaser that offers a sneak peek at the much-awaited bike, hinting at a futuristic and sporty design.
The teaser showcases the motorcycle’s silhouette, revealing key design elements that set it apart. The headlight assembly is a standout feature, with a horizontal DRL framed by a body-colored cowl that doubles as a windscreen. The headlight cluster itself consists of two LED projector lights, adding to the bike’s modern aesthetic. The handlebars are positioned at a comfortable height, suggesting a rider-friendly posture for relaxed and enjoyable rides.
The teaser also provides a glimpse of the bike’s overall form through a sketch, highlighting the fuel tank and a sleek, flat-looking single-piece seat with sharp tail styling. The seat, accented with red stitching, complements the sporty vibe of the motorcycle. Red stripes on the rims add a touch of contrast, enhancing the bike’s visual appeal. The tail section features a taillight integrated beneath the seat.
While detailed specifications have yet to be disclosed, Ola Electric has confirmed that the motorcycle will feature a battery developed in-house. According to Ola’s CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, these upcoming electric bikes will house the largest batteries in their category, promising an impressive range that outperforms competitors.
