Jaguar Land Rover has launched the new Evoque Convertible SUV in the Indian market with prices starting from INR 69.53 lakh (ex-showroom India).
The luxury convertible SUV will be available in the HSE Dynamic variant only and will be powered by the car maker’s 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol engine. The 1,998 cc, four-cylinder engine is tuned to deliver 240 PS of power and 340 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The soft top variant of the Evoque can sprint from o-100 kmph in 8.6 seconds while the top speed stands at 209 kmph.
Upfront, the luxury SUV features adaptive full LED headlights. The vehicle uses a fabric Z-folding Convertible Roof System that lays flush with the rear bodywork. Interiors features configurable ambient interior lighting and the perforated Windsor leather seats. Other interior features include Head-up Display, Wi-Fi Hotspot, ‘InControl – Pro Services’, and Surround Camera System that offers a near-360° view.
The Range Rover Evoque Convertible comes equipped with ‘Torque Vectoring by Braking’ system that is aimed to enhance the vehicle’s agility and stability during cornering. The All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) enables drivers to set and maintain a steady speed in challenging conditions.
