The automotive fraternity had recently ended up in a series of confusion after Honda launched the new Unicorn with a viscous air filter, a ‘CB’ prefix and an addition of Rs 2000 to the price tag. Much were disappointed especially after the display of the Unicorn sports edition in the Auto Expo 2010. Had Honda sorted to the Hero Honda techniques? The question was up since then and was given an impetus after Honda did the same with its Shine.
However, Honda may have not yet sorted to the ‘only cosmetic change’ tactic since now there are speculations of the launch of a new Unicorn by the 8th day of May, 2010. This time, Honda Motor and Scooter India (HMSI) might be determined to launch a Honda Unicorn which is very much similar to the one they had promised at the Auto Expo. However, HMSI refused to comment on the topic.
Our sources close to Honda mentioned that the bike will be much more stylish and will sport rear disc brakes and a digital console. However, with the changes, the change in the price tag will be of about Rs 10,000 more. Stay tuned on Motoroids as we try to get more news regarding the new Unicorn.
