If there ever was an award for the makers of some really ‘unconventional’ supercar concepts, Lamborghini has good chances of making it to the list of the contenders. As if the Veneno that was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show wasn’t enough to leave the audience speechless, Lamborghini recently showcased the new Egoista concept at the carmaker’s 50th anniversary celebrations held in Sant’Agata Bolognese.
Lamborghini hasn’t yet published the full details of the new Egoista but from what is known, the latest concept from the supercar maker has been created for a movie called Ecosita. The movie will be released later this year.
From what we have come to know, the new Egoista is a single seater sportscar that is inspired by fighter jets. In true fighter jet fashion, the car comes with a heads up display and is loaded with many gizmos. Powering the Egoista is a 5.2-liter V10 engine that has a max power output of 570 hp.
No prizes for guessing what the name means. The Egoista means “selfish” and the car has been named in this fashion because of the fact that only one person can enjoy it at a time.
Walter De Silva is maaaaaad, just when we learnt to forgive Lamborghini for the Veneno, there comes this! Now, for redemption, you better put both the Urus and Estoque in production!
