Till date you would have seen the Drift King drive the wheels off the Fords and Subarus, dodging obstacles by millimeter accuracy. Though the fascination for Mr. Block’s stupendous acts has always been sky high amongst the audience, he has always upped the tempo bringing variety of dare devilry every time he sets out on a new exploit.
And this time he has ditched the cars in favour of the big bulgy Ford F150 SVT Raptor. And before one starts visualizing Ken smoking the tyres of the near 3 tonner on wheels- the Raptor is retro-fitted with….. SNOW TRAX. Though it’s not the first time Ken would be pulling out a snow stunt. A similar show was put up way back in 2009 when he joined hands with Subaru to make the world’s fastest cat track operation for snowboarding.
The Raptor chosen for the stunt is the 6.2L V8 that pumps out 411 bhp of power and 434 nm of max torque. German seat manufacturer Recaro has provided seats to take care of Ken’s comfort while a full roll cage has been fabricated in case of any uncalled instances.
Expressing his excitement on the new project, Ken said “This project is something I’ve had in my head for awhile now. It’s an absolute beast of a machine and I’m stoked with how it’s turned out. Next up is for me to take it deep into the backcountry ASAP to help me and some friends slay some powder on our snowboards for a video project due out later this year.”
