Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has announced June 2013 as the “Exchange Month”. MSI’s plans to reach out to over 5 lakh customers vide its countrywide network of True Value showrooms and dealers. A mega carnival has been planned across 112 cities on June 15th and 16th and will go beyond the metro cities cover tier 1 and tier 2 locations like Ranchi, Patna, Indore, Bhubneshwar, Raipur, Karnal, Hubli, Sagar, Mandi, Vapi, Vardha, Jamnagar etc. to name a few. Benefits on spot bookings and attractive EMI schemes with bank partners would be offered as part of the initiative.
Mr. Mayank Pareek Chief Operating Officer (M&S), Maruti Suzuki said, “The month long Mega Carnival is an initiative for driving exchange and facilitating the new car sales. It will be led by our True Value chain which will act as catalyst to spur growth in of this segment. Maruti Suzuki is the market leader in this format of business. This initiative will provide a boost to an overall sluggish market and also create a positive sentiment for the entire automobile industry.”
Exchange and loyalty bonus would be offered on the complete lineup of Maruti cars intended to retain customers within the Maruti Suzuki’s fold. Apart from reaching out to prospective customers through ATL mediums, MSIL also plans BTL initiatives by way of SMS, eMailers, Direct Mailers, Direct Calling and Digital Campaign. Dealerships would be decorated with Exchange Carinval branding during the month with banners and backdrops.
