Mahindra XUV500 gets a new top-end variant with sunroof

Mahindra XUV500 Xclusive

The Mahindra Xuv500 is about to get a new top-end variant above the W8 trim, which will be called the W8 Xclusive edition. It will carry ten additional features like a sunroof, an electrically adjustable driver seat borrowed from the Ssangyong Rexton, a hydraulic bonnet taken from the Scorpio, new infotainment system that can connect to the internet, additional chrome inserts and maybe a different design pattern for the alloy wheels. Mechanically, expect this Cheetah on wheels to carry the same number of dots under the skin.

Apparently, even the Tata Safari Storme is about to get an update, where although it looks more or less the same on the outside, the furniture inside has been refreshed, and unlike Mahindra, Tata might overlook adding additional chrome and fit the Aria’s 2.2L , 150 PS Variocor engine under the Storme’s bonnet, which is a 10 PS upgrade over the existing 140 PS engine.
