Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to introduce a thoroughly revamped version of its popular Destini 125 scooter in India. Recent developments have revealed the design patent image of the new Hero Destini 125, which has been leaked online, providing a glimpse into the scooter’s refreshed aesthetics.
The leaked patent image showcases the scooter’s profile, revealing a retro-inspired flat side panel and a distinct taillight assembly. The taillight, in particular, protrudes slightly, enhancing the scooter’s vintage appeal.

The overall design evolution has been further detailed by earlier leaks from TeamBHP, highlighting significant revisions to the headlamp unit and turn indicators. The scooter’s front end has transformed, with the sharp nose of the previous model giving way to a smoother, more refined look. Notably, the new Destini 125 appears to use less chrome, adding to its contemporary feel.
Mechanically, the new Destini 125 is expected to remain largely unchanged. It will likely be powered by the same 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that delivers 9bhp at 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. This motor will continue to be paired with a CVT automatic transmission.
The updated Hero Destini 125 launch is anticipated to coincide with the upcoming festive season in India, with an expected ex-showroom price of around ₹84,000.
