The Z900 will appear in a brand new colour option for the 2018 sales season in the international market. There is no official announcement for the Indian market. The latest colour option for the Z900 will be Candy Persimmon Red with Metallic Spark Black delivering, along with three further options, a total of four colour choices in 2018.
Subtle changes see Flat Ebony replace Flat Metallic Spark Black on the darkest colour option plus the addition of red wheel rim tape and highlights. This and the Candy Lime Green machine also enjoy the benefit of detail graphic upgrades for the new season while the Pearl Mystic Grey option remains unchanged.

The Z900 uses the unique-to-Kawasaki Sugomi engineering and design philosophy. It gets the predator style stance with an aggressively styled twin headlight. The Z900 uses a 948cc inline four-cylinder, liquid cooled engine which is a re-bored version of the Z1000. The engine is tuned to produce 125hp of power @ 9,500 rpm, which is a good 12hp above the Z800, and 98Nm of torque @ 7,700 rotations.
The 2018 Kawasaki Z900 will be available from October 2017 in the international market.
