The Hyundai Verna received a face lift update earlier this week as the Korean car maker launched the new 2015 4s Fluidic Verna. The mid-size sedan is designed with the car maker’s Fluidic design philosophy and receives a fresh look for 2015. But can this updated model outdo one of the highest selling products in the mid-size sedan segment – the Honda City and the Maruti Ciaz – and the more subtle, but equally manic Skoda Rapid? We compare the technical specifications of these four mid-size sedans to find out how does the new 2015 Hyundai 4S Fluidic Verna fare against the competition.

The new 2015 Hyundai 4S Fluidic Verna continues to use the same power plant that propelled the previous generation Verna. The 2015 Hyundai 4S Fluidic Verna comes with more engine options than the competition and, on paper, the 1.6-litre petrol and diesel motors on the 4S Fluidic Verna produces more power than the rest of the cars in this comparison. The Honda City grabs the second spot with 119 PS and 100 PS of power from its petrol and diesel motor respectively. The Skoda Rapid finishes third while the Maruti Ciaz has the minimum power output figures against the rest. The same order follows in the torque output figures as well.

The 2015 Hyundai 4S Fluidic Verna also gets an upper edge over the competition with an automatic transmission with its diesel motor which the Honda City and Maruti Ciaz miss out on. The new 2015 Hyundai 4S Fluidic Verna is loaded with tons of features which gives it an upper hand against the competition. However, the addition of more features has also resulted in higher prices against competition. At starting prices of Rs 7.73 lakh for petrol and Rs 8.94 lakh, the 2015 Hyundai 4S Fluidic Verna is the most expensive vehicle in this comparison. Honda City comes in at second with the entry level petrol and diesel model being priced at Rs 7.50 lakh and Rs 8.75 lakh respectively. The Skoda Rapid and Maruti Ciaz finish third and fourth respectively.

Honda City is the wonderful car and it look sexy nice to self drive.. Attractive love this car..
Skoda is the best car in These segments
You sort of mention the Automatic and do not give credit to the Skoda.. That thing has the best one of the lot i.e. the DSG.. If you are looking for an automatic then Skoda wins without a doubt..
