The cyber space is literally flooded with news and speculations of the eagerly awaited Honda Brio diesel. Enough has been said and talked about the new oil burner from Honda and it is now quite confirmed that Honda plans to introduce its diesel engine to Indian market with the launch of Honda Brio sedan. However, the hatch too will soon get the diesel mill and the car can often been seen being tested near the Honda India’s NCR factory.
The recent Honda Brio spy pics come from our good friends at IAB and as can be made out, the car will be akin to the petrol variant in terms of looks. In all probability, the Honda Brio diesel will be powered by a 1.2 litre diesel motor which would be good enough for 80 bhp and a stellar fuel economy figure.
The Honda Brio diesel is expected to be launched in mid-2013.
Safely expect a premium of INR 80k-1lakh over the petrol variants . .
