India’s largest electric 2-wheeler maker Hero Electric has played a crucial role in developing the EV market in the country. Being at the forefront for the longest time, Hero Electric has over 850+ sales and service outlets across the country.
Along with a widespread charging network, the company is committed towards providing green mobility solutions to achieve the Net-Zero Vision. For this, the company is always working to strengthen its electric vehicle reach in various sectors.

The company strives to electrify India and further the expansion of the EV sector. Hero Electric has pledged to convert its B2B business to 65% emission-free mobility.
The Partnership
Hero Electric has partnered with NP Technology and Financial Advisor, an E-Mobility consulting, skill development, financing, and fleet operations business. The main objective behind this partnership is to drive up their electric 2-wheeler reach to platform-based fleet operators.
Furthermore, gig workers will be added to the overall platform to transform commuting for individuals. This will be a Driver Owner Model, i.e., where the vehicle operator is the one owning the vehicle.

What’s It About?
The partnership will speed up the addition of Gig workers on green mobility platforms. This will be for personal and freight movement for the last-mile delivery segment.
Both Hero Electric and NP Technology will train, provide financial assistance, and onboard riders on the platform. In order to provide complete business ecosystem support to Gig workers operating with businesses like Swiggy, Zomato, Uber, etc.
NP Technology and Financial advisor will also take up projects to uplift rural livelihood and create opportunities through entrepreneurship.
