Ford India launches the Fiesta Classic at Rs 5.49lakh

We had earlier told you about Ford India planning to rebadge the current Fiesta as the Fiesta Classic to make space for the new Fiesta (more on the new Fiesta in another post). Now the company has launched the Fiesta Classic with a more attractive price that brings the car almost at par with the Swift Dzire and the Tata Manza. The car will be available in both petrol and diesel variants, engine outputs and specifications will remain the same, however some features of the car will be taken off for the low cost variants in the Classic range.

The Classic range of Fiesta will have two new variants each for the petrol and diesel versions – LXI and CLXI, with the LXI being the lower variant of the two. The SXI variant which was available earlier too would still be on sale and would top the range. Here’s the ex-showroom Delhi price of the Fiesta Classic’s new LXI and CLXI variants. In addition to the new Colorado Red, customers can choose from the existing six colour options – Moondust Silver, Diamond White, Panther Black, Sea Grey, Morello, and Chill.

LXI (petrol) – Rs 5,49,030 CLXI (petrol) – Rs 5,99,000
LXI (diesel) – Rs 6,48,000 CLXI (diesel) – Rs 6,89,000

The new Fiesta Classic gets a new interior with Ebony and Jasper Blue coloured instrument panel, a new centre and floor console finished in Graphic Metallic, new seats with soft feel fabric and enhanced dual-tone door trims. In addition, all the product variants will display the ‘Classic’ moniker. There is also a new colour for the Classic range– Colorado Red. The new colour is offered across three variants – LXI, CLXI and SXI.

“With a proud and loyal customer base, the Fiesta has been one of the main stays of our product brand portfolio in India. With the elegant Fiesta Classic’s thrilling on-road dynamics, refreshingly classy new interiors and proven frugality we invite more customers to experience and benefit from the additional new variants we are offering with our classy product.” said Michael Boneham, managing director and president, Ford India.
