spy pics new lamborghini aventador variant incoming could be the performante

An even Bonkers Aventador? Images suggest Lamborghini is testing the ‘Performante’ version of the Aventador

06:52:01, that’s the time Lamborghini took to lap the ‘Ring’. The Italian manufacturer destroyed all the records with the highly advanced Huracan Performante. And now, Lamborghini is thinking to apply the same formula to their most outrageous bull, the Aventador. With Aventador SV all sold-out, Lamborghini was running out of time to bring an updated version of the Aventador. So, what are they doing? As per the images, there is a possibility that Lamborghini might bring a Performante version of the Aventador.

If Lamborghini is thinking to add Performante as a suffix then it might use the highly talked about Lamborghini Active Aerodynamic. In these spy images, you can clearly see two circles and a rectangular metal plate. That’s a feature we have seen in the Huracan Performante. The logic behind placing the exhaust system higher than its original place is to build more downforce and to cut down some extra kilos.

Power figures are still unclear on this car. But looking back at the Huracan Performante, it had 28hp more than the standard all-wheel-drive version. With this, we can assume that the Aventador Performante’s power output might be around 770hp and 690Nm of torque.

As you can see in the images, there are two prototypes being tested a coupe and a roadster. Recently, there were images showing Lamborghini testing the spyder version of the Huracan Performante and now it is testing two versions of the Aventador. It looks like Lamborghini wants to rattle the super-car industry to its core. As the most anticipated Lamborghini, the Urus will make its way in December. Lamborghini will also be ready with the Huracan Performante Spyder and the Aventador Performante.

The Huracan Performante might be the crown jewel of the company right now but when the Aventador Performante is unveiled, it may trump its younger sibling on all performance parameters.
