As we have been saying, the Renault/Duster has done a world of good to the European car maker and is one of the most successful compact SUVs in recent times. Now, the Duster, which is on sale at various international car markets, has been facing the heat from the new Ford EcoSport and is in desperate need of a few upgrades to reclaim the leadership it used to enjoy in recent past.
Seen here are a few of the first ever spy pics of the Dacia Duster facelift. The car was being tested in Worcester and was caught on test by the good folks at ProMotor. While the exterior styling of the Duster is likely to remain largely unchanged, the interiors will get a comprehensively upgraded equipment list and better materials.
The 2014 Dacia Duster facelift features new dials that have been borrowed from the Lodgy and the new Logan. The car also gets a new speed limiter system and there are good chances that the speed limiting system will be placed near the revised steering wheel. The car will further benefit from a new cruise control system and an ECO Mode for boosting the fuel economy.
There have been rumors that Renault might decide to launch the Duster facelift with a new dashboard which will be both aesthetically more pleasing and will have better ergonomics.
The 2014 Dacia Duster faclelift is being expected to make its public debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
