Tata Curvv has received a new variant range in India, and this one brings more equipment at different price points. Called the Curvv Series X, the new range starts at Rs 9.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 18.50 lakh, ex-showroom. Tata has also changed the way features are spread across the variants.
The Curvv Series X is offered with petrol and diesel engines. It keeps the coupe-SUV shape that has made the Curvv different from most cars in this price range. There are six variants to choose from, giving buyers more options.

- 17-inch and 18-inch alloy wheels
The Dark Edition is also available on more variants. It gets a black exterior finish and a darker cabin theme.

The cabin gets a good list of equipment, even on the lower variants. The Pure X gets a 10.25-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Other features include automatic climate control, cruise control, rear camera, parking sensors, push-button start, Wi-Fi, GPS and USB ports. Higher variants add more equipment such as:

More Space For Rear Passengers
Tata has also made some changes to the seating. The front seat-back is 10mm slimmer, giving more room behind it. The rear seat has been moved 20mm rearward and 10mm lower.
Rear passengers also get AC vents, a centre armrest and reclining seats on higher variants. The cabin can also be had with lighter upholstery and leatherette finishes.
Engine And Gearbox
There are three engine choices:
| Engine | Power | Torque |
|---|---|---|
| 1.2-litre Turbo Petrol | 120hp | 170Nm |
| 1.2-litre TGDi Petrol | 125hp | 225Nm |
| 1.5-litre Diesel | 118hp | 260Nm |

Our take
The Series X gives buyers more equipment at different price points without making the Curvv complicated. The lower variants get useful features, while the higher versions add premium touches such as ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof and a 360-degree camera.
With prices starting at Rs 9.99 lakh, the Curvv Series X has become a stronger option for buyers looking for a feature-rich SUV with a different design.
