With a High-Definition 3D car & accessories configurator, an integrated finance & insurance calculator, and an online trade-in facilitator, Stellantis India is enhancing its seamless client experience for both Citroen and Jeep. The businesses have created an omnichannel purchasing experience for their customers through their physical network in line with their “Anytime, Anywhere, Any Device, Any Content” (ATAWADAC) offering.

The High-Definition 3D car configurator deployed for both the brands acts as a backbone to the buying experience and plans are afoot to expand the Made in India solution in the Asia Pacific region.”

88 (65 Jeep + 21 Citroen) Phygital Showrooms, over 700 sales consultants trained on 3D car configurator as a Sales Conversion Tool, and increased traction on brand website by 66.7 percent are some of Stellantis’ key engagement proof points. These numbers represent 700,000 customers who have used the configurator since March 2021.

Stellantis, the parent company of Jeep and Citroen, recently opened a software development centre in Bengaluru that would concentrate on the creation of technical advancements for the improvement of autos and mobility. The facility, which covers 50,000 square feet, will act as the main development hub for STLA SmartCockpit, one of three technology platforms that are essential to the company’s digital transformation strategy and are scheduled to be introduced in 2024 and implemented across the four STLA vehicle platforms. Additionally, STLA AutoDrive’s AI and ADAS technologies will be developed in large part at the Bengaluru centre. In addition, Base software platforms built using the Classic and Adaptive Autosar frameworks will be supported by the Bengaluru-based Base Software Development team.

Yves Bonnefont, Chief Software Officer at Stellantis, and the Stellantis India top management team opened the new centre. Sophisticated labs, including a next-generation acoustic lab, will be located in the Bengaluru headquarters and will be used to create unique audio signatures and premium audio experiences for Stellantis vehicle owners all over the world.
