Chevrolet India has come up with a new limited edition variant of its entry level C segment sedan- The Sail. The Chevrolet Sail Limited Edition has gone on sale for a starting price of INR 5.23 Lakhs and comes with a set of updates, which aim to make the car more appealing to prospective buyers.
The Chevrolet Sail Limited Edition features list is as follows-

- Limited Edition badge
- Limited Edition Seat Covers
- Illuminated Sill Plates
- Chrome Garnish on the deck lid
- Reverse Parking Sensors
- ORVMs with blinkers
- Limited Edition cushion pillows
Launched early last year, the Sail has never managed to set sales charts on fire. Call it the affect of ultra competitive rivals such as the Maruti Swift Dzire and the Honda Amaze or Sail’s inability to come across as a value for money proposision, despite the lucrative price tag, the Sail has never managed to capture the imagination of the car buying lot.
With the addition of more features though, Chevrolet India seems to be trying hard to make the Sail get noticed and it will now be interesting to see if the sales of this Chevy would finally pick up.
Along with a set of new features, the Sail is also available with added accessories worth INR 15,000. Along with this, Chevrolet India is also offering an additional discount of INR 30,000 in the form of exchange offer, loyalty bonus, corporate discounts etc.
Powerng the Chevrolet Sail sedan is a 1.2 litre, four pot, normally aspirated motor for the petrol variants and a 1.3 litre, Multijet, turbocharged oil burner for the dieel variants.
