We have been reporting in detail about the new 2014 Honda Mobilio MPV. The Brio based Mobilio MPV made its public debut at this year’s Indonesia International Motor Show and would soon go on sale in Indonesia. PT Honda Prospect Motor, the Indonesian subsidiary of Honda, have now come up with a new presentation video of the upcoming Honda LMPV (Low Multi Purpose Vehicle) .
The latest video clip reveals few more details of the upcoming Honda LMPV, such as the best-in-class 185mm of ground clearance.
It has also emerged that the middle row seats of the Mobilio would boast of a 60:40 layout.
The interiors would also feature roof mounted aircon unit for rear passengers. This unit would be positioned just above the second row of saets. As we have been saying, the new Honda Mobilio LMPV reflects the car maker’s “Man Maximum Machine Minimum” philosophy and many reports suggest that the car is more spacious than the Ertiga. Hence, it makes perfect sense for the upcoming car to have a roof mounted air con unit, which would ensure that every corner of the Mobilio’s interior remains cool.
The Honda Mobilio will be powered by a 1.5 litre, 4 pot, 116bhp petrol engine. However, we expect the Mobilio to get the 1.5 litre iDTEC diesel engine when it comes to our country.
The Mobilio will go on sale in Indonesia for a starting price of 150 million Indonesian Rupiah (approx INR 8.40 lakhs).
