Hyundai Motor India registered positive growth in domestic sales. In the domestic market, the car maker sold 38,601 units in the month of April 2015 against 35,248 units in the corresponding month last year. The exports growth, however, dragged the numbers down. Hyundai exported 12,904 units in the month of April 2015 against 14,974 in the corresponding month last year. The cumulative sales were registered at 51,505 units for the month of April 2015 against 50,222 units in April 2014.
Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP- Sales and Marketing says that Hyundai, with a volume of 38,601 units, continued the growth momentum with 9.5% increase over last year on the strength of strong and young product portfolio led by 12,425 units of Elite i20 and i20 Active.
Hyundai Motor India currently has nine car models across segments – Eon, i10, Grand i10, Elite i20, Active i20, Xcent, Verna, Elantra and Santa Fe.
