BMW’s take on the future, ‘Wearable Trasportation’

BMW joined hands with the European Institute of Design in Barcelona to give shape to what they call ‘wearable mobility’. The results of the whole exercise are quite interesting, but in most cases, impractical and cumbersome. In fact some of the concepts border on to looking stupid.

The ideas that have been tossed in the air include a roller skate – ski combo, and a quadricycle which is seemingly powered by batteries. However, in most of these cases, the ‘wearable’ part seems just a token. The fancy suits in all these concepts don’t really seem to be serving any purpose.
