Royal Enfield declared its sales report for the month of January 2016. The company reported sales of 47710 units in combined domestic wholesale and exports in January 2016 recording a growth of 65 % over same period last year.
The company also launched its entire range motorcycles and gear at its first store in Jakarta at Jalan Pejaten, Barat No. 5 which is set up by PT. Distributor Motor Indonesia. With this, the brand officially announced its retail readiness in Indonesia with the price announcement of its full range of motorcycles and gear.
Royal Enfield also introduced nine new colors for their existing product line-up that includes four new colours for its retro street model Classic, three colours for the legendary Bullet and one colour each for its highway cruiser, the Thunderbird and the Continental GT cafe racer. These new colour variants have been introduced in addition to the existing colours that are available for each motorcycle model. The new colour schemes are available for bookings at all official dealerships. The prices of the new color variants although, will remain unchanged.
Royal Enfield is also set to unveil its latest motorcycle, the Himalayan on 2nd February, 2016. The newly developed motorcycle will be powered by an all new 410 cc engine that will be unveiled in New Delhi at the Auto Expo.
