It seems like Bajaj Auto’s favourite pass time is to roll out new colours for its offerings. The company has been busy with new launches. A few days ago, Bajaj launched the NS 125 and now, it has rolled out ‘Dagger Edge’ editions of the Pulsar 220F, Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 150. As expected, all the bikes mentioned here have benefitted from new colour schemes but have remained exactly the same mechanically.
Below are the ex-showroom, New Delhi prices of the Dagger Edge Edition :
Pulsar 150 : Rs 1,01,818
Pulsar 150 Twin-Disc : Rs 1,04,819
Pulsar 180 : Rs 1,09,651
Pulsar 220F : 1,28,250
The Pulsar 220F has remained largely unchanged since the time it was launched but it still manages to post good sales figures. This goes on to show that the former ‘World’s fastest India’ still enjoys a cult following among indian motorcyclists. The Bajaj Pulsar 220F Dagger Edge edition is offered in four colours which are Pearl White, Sapphire Blue, Volcanic Red and Sparkle Black.
At its heart sits the same 220cc unit which is capable of delivering 20.1bhp at 8500rpm and 18.55Nm at 7000rpm.
Bajaj Pulsar 190
The Pulsar 180 too, is one of the most popular offerings in the company’s portfolio. Bajaj recently discontinued the Pulsar 220F inspired Pulsar 180F and brought back the roadster version of the motorcycle. The Pulsar 180 Dagger Edge edition gets Pearl White, Volcanic Red and Sparkle Black colours but not the Saffire Blue.
The new colour options get different highlights and graphics. Powering the bike is the same 178.6cc motor which produces 16.8bhp at 8500rpm and 14.52Nm at 6500rpm.

Another crowd-favourite, the Pulsar 150 is offered in two matte colour options, Pearl White and Saffire Blue. Pearl White colour comes with red highlights on the mudguard and rims. It also gets red-black graphics across its body and belly pan as well. Meanwhile, the Saffire Blue colour comes with white highlights on front mudguard and rims, and it also gets white-black graphics across its body and belly pan.
It continues to get the same BS6 compliant 149.5 cc single-cylinder engine which makes 13.8 bhp at 8,000 rpm along with peak torque output of 13.25 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
