The fourth-generation Swift maintains its identity while evolving its design language. Drawing inspiration from the Mini Cooper, the hatchback looks sporty and youthful. Notable updates include a clamshell bonnet, an assertive grille, a more dynamic bumper, and new LED headlights with an appealing DRL pattern. While retaining its recognizable silhouette, subtle changes in the profile, such as new wheels and repositioned rear door handles.
Interior Upgrades
Inside the cabin, the 4th-gen Swift introduces significant upgrades. The toggle-style auto climate control panel from the Baleno makes an appearance, replacing the older circular dials. Although the India-spec Swift might miss out on the Baleno’s HUD, it compensates with premium upholstery and a sharp cabin design.

Noteworthy among the upgrades is the introduction of a free-standing 9-inch infotainment screen featuring wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, mirroring the tech-forward approach seen in the new Baleno. The next-gen Maruti Swift is poised to debut a 3-cylinder 1.2L NA petrol engine equipped with a 48V self-charging hybrid system. This robust hybrid setup aims to achieve a commendable fuel efficiency of over 30 kmpl, setting a new benchmark in the hatchback segment. The existing 1.2-litre inline-4 petrol motor is expected to continue.
