The 2018 Yamaha YZF-R3 was launched in India on February 9th during the 2018 Auto Expo held in Delhi earlier this month.

The new Yamaha R3 with ABS has been introduced with a price tag of INR 3.48 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

For 2018, the Yamaha YZF-R3 comes equipped with a few new updates including a BS-IV compliant engine, dual channel ABS, Metzeler tyres and new graphics. To be available in two colours including Racing Blue and Magma Black, the new R3 will be available at select Yamaha dealerships in the country. Save for these updates, the Yamaha R3 will retain the features offered in the outgoing model.
2018 Yamaha YZF-R3 ABS Engine And Performance
Propelling the 2018 Yamaha YZF-R3 is a BS-IV emission compliant 321 twin cylinder, liquid cooled motor. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 42 PS at 10,750 rpm while the peak torque of 29.6 Nm comes up at 9000 rpm. This engine is mated to a six speed gearbox.
