Popular American bike maker Harley Davidson is fast getting aggressive with its Indian operations. We reported in detail when the iconic bike maker commenced the CKD assembly of its popular line up of bikes in India. It may be noted that prior to the CKD operations, the famous cruiser bikes used to come to us via CBU route and local assembly meant that the prices of these bikes saw a huge drop in India.
The latest development with Harley Davidson is the unveiling of their latest bike at the Daytona bike week. Christened as the new Harley Davidson FXSB Breakout, the cruiser bike from the FXSB series might be headed our way in near future.
The Harley Davidson FXSB Breakout is powered by a 1,690 cc engine that has 130Nm of torque. The motor is mated to a six speed Cruise Drive gearbox that is expected to be butter smooth in operation. The Breakout can be bought with ABS and a security system.
The Breakout will sit among the high end bikes in the American bike maker’s line up and will be positioned in the top spectrum of cruiser bikes. The Breakout has a 240 mm rear tyre, stylish fenders and wide front forks.
