This Solid Barnato Green shaded, 2012 Bentley Mulsanne, once owned by HM Queen Elizabeth II for a couple of years, is up for sale with an asking price is £199,850 (approximately INR 1.88 Crore). Of course, the ‘Ex Royal Household’ tag commands a hefty premium over other used examples of the Mulsanne from the same period. The car is currently listed for sale by Bramley Motor Cars with 5,826 miles on the odometer.
This particular Mulsanne was put into service with the Royal Household, exclusively for use by HM Queen Elizabeth II. It was used to transport her on various occasions over a two-year period. The Queen used it when visiting 10 Downing Street to attend her first cabinet meeting, as part of the UK government’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations where David Cameron greeted her as she arrived. The car was retired from her fleet in 2014 having covered less than 5,000 miles.
Inside, the Queen’s Bentley is leather upholstered with Twine Main Hide, along with Burr Walnut veeners. It further features options like veneered picnic tables, rear quarter vanity mirrors, embroidered Bentley emblem to all seats, and veneered door panels. The Royal Houselhold’s Mulsanne rides on 21-inch alloy wheels. The 6.75-liter V8 engine in the Mulsanne is good for 505 horsepower, and along with an eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear tires, the limousine accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds before hitting a top speed of 184 mph.
