The Ignis is s sporty looking hatchback offered by Maruti Suzuki. The car is sold through Maruti's NEXA channels and derives power from a petrol mill which comes paired with a manual and AMT gearbox.
The Maruti Suzuki Ignis is 3700 mm long, 1690 mm wide, 1595 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2435 mm. The car also stands 180 mm above the ground and has a turning radius of 4.7 meters. The styling of the car is quirky, where the end result is a car that looks different from everything else that's on sale in the hatchback market.
In terms of equipment, the Maruti Suzuki Ignis gets projector headlamps with LED DRL and fog lamps. The car gets 15-inch blacked-out alloy wheels and overall, cuts a unique picture with its styling. The driver can adjust the driving seat as per his convenience with the help of manual seat height adjuster. In terms of practicality, the Maruti Suzuki Ignis offers a good amount of storage spaces which includes glass holders, bottle holders and side pockets. The driver can effortlessly access the infotainment console with the help of steering mounted controls. The three-pod instrument cluster consists of a tachometer, a speedometer and a TFT digital display which provides information regarding time, temperature, fuel level, distance covered and gear shifts.

The Maruti Suzuki Ignis is propelled by a 1.2-litre petrol unit which churns out respective power and torque output of 82 ps at 6000 rpm 113 Nm at 4200 rpm. Transmission duties are handled by a 5-speed manual and AMT. The Maruti Suzuki Ignis has a fuel-efficient unit and is rated for 20.89 Kmpl. The fuel tank is big enough to store 32 litres of fuel at one go. In terms of performance, the Maruti Suzuki Ignis feels peppy to drive, courtesy of the free-revving K-series engine. However, the steering lacks feel and feedback and does not come with a self-centring feature either. However, for its dimensions, the Ignis is a peppy little fun package for within town driving.
