Mahindra Mojo and Gusto awarded by the India Design Council

The Mahindra Gusto scooter and Mojo touring bike have both been awarded the India Design Mark (IMARK) award by the India Design Council in recognition of good design and product excellence. The IMARK certification symbolises product excellence in form, function, quality, safety, sustainability, and innovation and communicates that the product is usable, durable, aesthetically appealing, and socially responsible. It is granted to Mahindra Two wheelers after an evaluation process that is aimed at identifying good design which exceeds the prescribed criteria of evaluation.

Mahindra Gusto boasts a patented Height Adjustable Seat feature that is said to be India’s first. It is powered by a 109.6 cc, 4-stroke, Air-cooled, M-TEC Engine that delivers 8.0 bhp of power at 7,500 rpm and a max torque of 9 Nm at 5,500rpm. The Gusto is packed with features such as the remote flip key, Find-Me lamps, guide lamps, halogen head lamp with LED pilot lamps, easy Front Kick and a Quick Storage compartment.

The Mahindra Mojo is the company’s first touring bike and is equipped with the 295cc liquid cooled, 4-Stroke, SI engine. The powerplant is assisted by an EFI (Electronic Fuel Ignition) system and produces 26 Bhp at 8,000rpm and 30Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The Mojo rolls out with Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres and a 21-litre fuel tank, which is said to be the largest in its class.
