How about a Lamborghini Urus 6×6?

Lamborghini’s last tryst with the utility vehicle in 1986 produced something called the LM-002, an oddly exotic, boxy and over-tired SUV. The new Urus, which was unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2012, is yet to reach production. Elsewhere in the exotic SUV space, the Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6 has created ripples, be it when wading through a meter of standing water, or busting dunes in the Sahara.

Someone at Lambo Cars has created this digital rendering of the Urus riding on a G63 6×6, and we’re quite sure that it’s the most bad-ass thing you’ve seen all week. The Urus’s body has been virtually stretched way beyond its 4.9-meter length, painted to satin black, and jacked up on the G63 6×6’s drive, replete with the three portal axles with gigantic 37″ tires at each of their ends.

The Urus, in concept guise, features a 584 bhp strong, turbocharged 5.2 liter V10 engine by Audi that includes an electric motor with plug-in capability. In comparison, the AMG 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine in the G63 6×6 inflicts 536 bhp and 760 Nm of twist to the six driven wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission. The Urus has a front-engine, all-wheel-drive layout (add a couple of wheels in this case), and a claimed top speed of 328 kph that’ll be slashed in half in this monstrous guise.
