KTM has loaded its Duke 390 motorcycle with a slipper clutch and the final nail to the coffin of all the doubts is a set of workshop manual images that indicate a slipper clutch assembly on the new 2015 models. These latest set of images compare the new clutch assembly with the older one and clearly mention “Clutch – Assist and Slipper”.
As we reported earlier, KTM has updated all the 2015 Duke 390 street-fighter motorcycles with slew of features for more durability and comfort. For 2015, KTM has loaded the Duke 390 with a slipper clutch for easy operations. A slipper clutch to mitigate the effects of engine braking when riders decelerate and downshift gears aggressively.
