Powering this scooter is an air-cooled, single cylinder, 4-stroke, 110.9 cc engine. This engine is carburettor fed and offers a maximum power output of 8 bhp at 7,500 rpm and peak torque of 8.7 Nm comes in at 5,500 rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a dry, centrifugal type automatic clutch. A fuel tank of 4.8-litres capacity feeds the engine with good stuff, keeping it going for a respectable distance between fuel stops. Anchorage duties are done by 130 mm drum brakes at both ends, which are offered with an Integrated Braking System. This safety aid helps to keep the rider safe in situations of panic braking and also helps reduce braking distance.
