Targetted at young students & professionals and women, which are a growing customer base for scooters of this segment, the Pleasure 110+ packs a powerful punch with retro design and performance. The scooter measures 1,679 mm in length, is 704 mm wide and stands 1,161 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 1,238 mm. A ground clearance of 155 mm seems sufficient enough to clear bad patches of roads and a kerb weight of 101 kg is quite easy to handle. The scooter comes with a starting price of INR 47,300 for the sheet metal wheel variant and INR 49,300 for the cast wheel model. Both prices quoted here are ex-showroom, Delhi. Read ahead to know more about this newly launched scooter.
Powering this scooter is an air-cooled, single cylinder, 4-stroke, 110.9 cc engine. This engine is carburettor fed and offers a maximum power output of 8 bhp at 7,500 rpm and peak torque of 8.7 Nm comes in at 5,500 rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a dry, centrifugal type automatic clutch. A fuel tank of 4.8-litres capacity feeds the engine with good stuff, keeping it going for a respectable distance between fuel stops. Anchorage duties are done by 130 mm drum brakes at both ends, which are offered with an Integrated Braking System. This safety aid helps to keep the rider safe in situations of panic braking and also helps reduce braking distance.
Carrying the right balance between modern and vintage design, the Pleasure+110 comes with a number of features and design highlights. The scooter comes with a USB charger, a glove box, LED boot lamp, integrated braking system, a new backlit instrument console, fuel and side stand indicator. Talking about aesthetics, the scooter comes with a new, retro-styled front end, a sleek rear tail lamp and a dual texture seat. As mentioned above, the scooter will be available in two variants. The former, sheet metal wheel variant will be available in glossy shades of Black, Blue, White and Red, while the cast wheel equipped variant will come in matte shades of Red, Green and Vernier Grey.
