The kids asked for donuts, and they got them – our kind of donuts. Don’t worry, they were strapped. This is Famous Footwear’s Momkahna spot, and it involves a mother with her kids in a minivan – but not just any mother, and certainly not a run-of-the-mill van. The lady at the wheel is somebody Ken Block could go out on dates with, while the van is a heavily modified Toyota Sienna armed with a 550-horsepower V8.
The van is built by JEM FX, has a soccer-mom friendly automatic transmission, but it’s mated to that fire breathing GM LS3 V8 engine with an all aluminum block, which takes pleasure in incinerating the rear tires. A drifting handbrake lever also makes for a good family time, while a racing harness on all four seats ensure safety.
