Prabhakar AVR, Motoroids’ Hyderabad Motorep pulled off a fantastic one-to-one interview with Chris Pfeiffer during the Hyderabad leg of his India tour. Feast on this interview, as we prepare the video of the quality time he spent with us
Prabhakar : Who was your role model who inspired you to be what you are today?
Chris : AC Farias is my Role Model
Prabhakar : Is performing in India different than performing elsewhere?
Chris : The Roads are slippery & difficult. However, the crowds are amazing.
Prabhakar : What has been your scariest moment till date as a stunter.
Chris : I had a fall, which had my vertebral column injured. That was scary.
Prabhakar : What is your favourite stunt variation
Chris : I like wheelie circle Combos
Prabhakar : What according to you are the unique characteristics of a bike for it to be a good stunt bike.
Chris : Any street bike with modifications like additional rear brake( hand Brake), Big Sprocket, Crash protections, Fixing & controlling gas, etc. makes for a good stunt bike
Prabhakar : Most of the bikes available in India are 150-250cc 15 to 22 bhp bikes – are these bikes suitable enough to stunt / or dangerous
Chris : They are pretty good stunt Bikes. I always recommend young riders to start on small bikes. You can have good control & you have to fight more. You have solid bikes here to start with.
Prabhakar : What are the most important qualities that a biker needs to possess to become a successful stunter.
Chris : You need to have a passion. You need to have a passion to practice. You need to be smarter.
Prabhakar : Your biggest achievement in your career
Chris : Winning the first world championship in 2003 was a big surprise & most interesting moment in my career.
Prabhakar : from MX to stunting, you have done it all. Would you have ever wanted to participate / win races in MotoGP?
Chris : No. I am not a road racer.
Prabhakar : Up Until now, which was the performance you enjoyed the most? Why? (Worldwide)
Chris : Excitement here, I am liking this tour a lot.
Prabhakar : If given a chance, would you prefer to perform in India again?
Chris : Yeah I hope I can come again.
Prabhakar : Given a chance, what would the one thing you would change in your past.
Chris : I would have started stunting earlier.
Prabhakar : One thing you liked and disliked about India
Chris : It is peaceful, there are so many people. I din’t like the Horrible Traffic.
Prabhakar : One message for all your fans in India.
