Radio Station 104 FM tuned into UM Motorcycles at the Auto Expo 2016 and rode on the Renegade wave. The radio station built a temporary studio at the Expo to add to the ongoing fun. 104 FM’s RJ Khurafati Nitin interacted with Rajeev Mishra – Director- UML, Ayush Lohia, Director – UML and Saadia Khan, Corporate Communication & PR Manager, UM Lohia Two Wheelers Pvt. Ltd. At the radio station’s studio their RJ interviewed UM Motorcycles’ spokespersons who shared their future plans for its customers in India.
Apart from the interviews, a contest comprising of questions on the brand was also organised wherein winners bagged couple passes to visit the Auto Expo on the February 9th along with some UM Motorcycles merchandise. The Indian arm of the American motorcycle maker, UM International, LLC along with Lohia Auto brought the Renegade Commando, Renegade Sport S and Renegade Classic in India. The bike maker claims that the Renegade range comprises of innovative products with an exhilarating design and embedded with the latest technology at an affordable price tag and will be well received by the Indian market. The company plans to open 50 dealerships across India.
At the Auto Expo 2016, UM Motorcycles launched the much awaited Renegade Sport S, Renegade Classic and the Renegade Commando at INR 1.49 lakhs, INR 1.69 lakhs and INR 1.59 lakhs respectively (all prices are Ex-Showroom Delhi). They also roped in Bollywood actor, Karan Singh Grover, to launch their motorcycles at the event.
