VinFast has revised the prices of its VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs, making both models more expensive. The VF6 gets a flat Rs 90,000 increase across all three variants. The VF7 gets a larger hike of up to Rs 1.13 lakh.
New VinFast VF6 Prices
The VF6 is now available between Rs 18.19 lakh and Rs 20.09 lakh ex showroom. This is the second price increase for the SUV since its launch in India.

The VF6 uses a 59.6kWh usable battery across the range. The Earth variant produces 174bhp and 250Nm, with a claimed range of up to 468km.
The higher variants make around 201bhp and 310Nm. Their claimed range stands at 463km.

The larger VF7 has received an increase of around Rs 1.10 lakh to Rs 1.13 lakh depending on the variant. Its current price range is Rs 22.99 lakh to Rs 28.09 lakh ex showroom.
The SUV measures 4,550mm long and has a 2,840mm wheelbase. Different versions get different battery and motor combinations.
The entry version uses a 59.6kWh battery and front wheel drive. Higher front wheel drive versions use a 70kWh battery.
The Sky and Sky Infinity variants use two electric motors and all wheel drive. These versions produce 349bhp and 500Nm. VinFast claims 0 to 100kmph in 5.8 seconds and an ARAI certified range of 510km.

More Competition For Both SUVs
The revised VF6 prices put it against cars such as the Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6 and MG Windsor EV. The VF7 enters a higher price bracket where buyers can also look at models such as the Mahindra XEV 9e and Tata Harrier EV.
VinFast Is Building A Bigger Lineup
The VF6 and VF7 are no longer the only models in the company’s India plan. VinFast also sells the VF MPV 7, and the smaller VF5 has been spotted testing on Indian roads.
The company is therefore looking beyond its first two electric SUVs.
The VF6 has a strong equipment list and a decent battery size for its segment. The VF7 has an even bigger advantage in its powerful dual motor version, which produces 349bhp.
But the latest price increase changes the calculation for buyers.
What The Price Hike Means
The VF6 has become Rs 90,000 more expensive across the range. The VF7 has gone up by more than Rs 1 lakh on some variants. For VinFast, the challenge is now to convince buyers that the features, performance, range and ownership support justify the higher prices.
The brand is still new in India, so every new model and every price change can influence how customers see it.
