Bajaj Pulsar is one of the most well known and loved names on Indian roads. For many riders, the Pulsar name has been part of their daily commute, college days and first bike memories. Now Bajaj Auto has given the Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 a major update. Prices start at Rs 92,990 for the Pulsar 125 and Rs 1,15,233 for the Pulsar 150, ex showroom.
New Bajaj Pulsar 125
The Pulsar 125 gets four variants with different equipment and seat options.

The bike now gets a monoshock rear suspension instead of the older twin shock setup. It also has an LED headlamp, coloured LCD display and Crawl Tech as standard.

The 124cc engine makes 12 PS and 11.4 Nm. Bajaj says 85 percent of the torque is available from 3,000rpm.
New Bajaj Pulsar 150
The Pulsar 150 is available in three versions.

The 149cc engine produces 14 PS and 14.1 Nm. The bike also gets a monoshock, LED lighting, Crawl Tech and a five speed gearbox.

What Is Crawl Tech?
Crawl Tech is one of the main new additions. It lets the bike move slowly without throttle input.
On the Pulsar 125, it can maintain around 5 kmph in first gear and up to 25 kmph in fifth gear. The Pulsar 150 can move at around 10 kmph in first gear and up to 30 kmph in fifth.
This can be useful in slow traffic where riders repeatedly use the clutch and throttle.
Design And Colours
Both bikes receive new LED headlamps, revised tank extensions, fresh graphics and updated tail lamps. The Pulsar 125 also gets a redesigned exhaust and grab rails. The 150 gets sharper styling and an optional belly pan.
Both models are offered in five colours, with different graphics and rim highlights depending on the variant.
The Competition
The Pulsar 125 goes up against the Hero Xtreme 125R, TVS Raider 125 and Honda SP125. The Pulsar 150 competes with bikes such as the Honda Unicorn and TVS Apache RTR 160.
