Blackstorm Edition and Market Positioning
MG recently introduced the Comet BLACKSTORM Edition, priced at ₹7.80 lakh. It features an all-black exterior with dark chrome accents, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This variant caters to buyers looking for a sleeker and more premium city EV.

With the Comet EV, MG aims to strengthen its presence in the affordable urban EV segment. It competes with models like the Tata Tiago EV and Citroen e-C3, both offering larger battery packs and longer highway capabilities. However, the Comet’s compact size, city-friendly features, and competitive pricing make it a strong option for urban buyers.

The MG Comet EV comes with the MG e-Shield package, covering essential ownership costs. The 3-3-3-8 package includes:
- 3 years/1 lakh km warranty
- 3 years roadside assistance (RSA)

- 8 years/1.2 lakh km battery warranty
