Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced the new 2025 Activa, enhancing India’s most popular scooter with advanced technology and sustainability-focused upgrades. The latest iteration is now OBD2B-compliant and brings several new features to improve rider convenience. It is available across Honda dealerships, starting at ₹80,950 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
New Features and Technology
The 2025 Honda Activa retains its trusted 109.51cc, single-cylinder, PGM-Fi engine. It delivers 5.88 kW at 8,000 RPM and 9.05 Nm of torque at 5,500 RPM. The key update is its OBD2B compliance, ensuring it meets the latest emission norms. The scooter also features an Idling Stop System to enhance fuel efficiency.

A major addition is the new 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. It works with the Honda RoadSync app, allowing riders to access navigation, call alerts, and message notifications. The inclusion of a USB Type-C charging port adds to the convenience.
Design and Variants
The new Activa retains its signature styling while introducing premium touches. Alloy wheels, previously exclusive to the H-Smart variant, are now available on the DLX trim as well. Honda continues to offer three variants—STD, DLX, and H-Smart—catering to different customer preferences.
Buyers can choose from six colours: Pearl Precious White, Decent Blue Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Mat Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue.
Honda’s Commitment to Innovation
Speaking on the launch, Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, HMSI, emphasized Honda’s focus on innovation. “The Activa has always led the way in redefining mobility in India. The 2025 model integrates technology, convenience, and reliability, keeping up with evolving customer needs,” he said.
